Who put this dull waste of time together?
Me, Gary Hurdman . A freelance software designer/developer. I live in the West Midlands, UK with my girlfriend (soon to be wife) Lisa and our freaky 3 legged cat and goldfish (at the last count, the goldfish had no legs at all).

How did you put it together?
I used PHP4 to create the site. Although there is no dynamic content, it saved a lot of time by the reuse of code that wouldn't have been possible had I used pure HTML. The site was developed and is run on Linux with the Apache Web Server.

Why did you put it together?
A couple of reasons, firstly to keep my PHP4 skills up to date! Secondly, because my friends and family are spread across the globe I'm not able to bore them with my holiday pictures, so I have set up this site and will trust all my family and friends in the USA/Canada and other parts of the world to bore themselves in my absence. Go on, knock yourself out.
